The fish measure from 1.3 to 3.5 inches long on tan matrix measuring 2 x 3" up to 2 x 4" ovals. Cretaceous, 65 to 144 myo. Santana formation, collected from the Ceara State of Brazil. The common mortality feature of the species is a bent neck or broken neck. Actual specimen may vary in slightly in size and shape.
