Detail - Agatized Vicarya Casings:  These are beautiful agatized Vicarya mollusk casings from Indonesia. They are Miocene in age, 5-24 myo. They were formed when a liquid mineral slurry filled the mollusk shell and then mineralized over time. There may be restoration on some of them as they were chiseled out of rock and carefully air-braid cleaned.
