Petrified Wood
Polished Cedar slabs from the tailing piles of the ghost
town; Tuscarora, Nevada. Elko county, Oligocene age
wood. Each piece is unique in color and grain pattern. One
side is polished to mirror like quality with no coating used.
These pieces were cut and polished by a lapidary who retired in 2006 and
there will be no more of this quality.
This specimen has a very interesting shape and great color patterns!
This one will become one of your favorite petrified wood pieces in you
collection! Measures 7 x 2.3 x 5/8ths inches.
