Minerals - Spheres - Obsidian Obsidian is a form of volcanic glass. It has been used for centuries for
arrowheads and other primitive tools. It is also faceted and used as a semiprecious stone.
We have a wonderful assortment of Rainbow, Gold sheen and midnight black spheres. These
spheres are hand polished and imported from Chihuahua Mexico. Choose from a variety of

Mahogany Obsidian
This sphere measures 6 and 1/2 inches in diameter and
weighs 12 pounds.

Obsidian Spheres
Rainbow Obsidian spheres have excellent sheen and feature blue to purple
circular rainbow "eye" effects. Gold Sheen spheres show a nice iridescent hot spot on both axis.
Midnight Black has no sheen or rainbow.
