Fossil: Mammal Bones
These bones are collected from the state of Kansas.
They represent mammals who roamed at a time when the early
hunter-gatherer cultures were developing in America. Undoubtedly
these mammal species were a source of food, clothing and many other
items of everyday use. Pleistocene in age, 10 to 15 thousand years
old.
Pleistocene Deer
Odocoileus virginianus
These were collected from the Kansas River Bed, Wyandotte,
County of Kansas. They have a light museum grade preservative
coating to keep their integrity for open air display.
Deer Metacarpal Leg Bone
We have a nice selection of high quality Deer rear leg bones.
These were collected from the Arkansas River of Tulsa Co. Oklahoma.
Pleistocene in age. Average length is 8".
